Standard French outlets are used in India, no adapter needed. Riders from America or other countries may require an adapter.

The telephone network is generally good except in the Himalayas, in particular in the Ladakh region: outside the capital Leh, no telephone goes through, and satellite telephones are prohibited because we are in a militarized zone on the border with China. Electricity and hot water are available in most areas, but not all. Availability can be especially sporadic in the most remote areas. WIFI is available in the majority of hotels in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and South India. In Ladakh and the Himalayas in general, do not expect to have WIFI at the stages. For addicts, take a sim card when you arrive at the airport.
