HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF

When riding with Vintage Rides, you MUST wear gloves and an approved helmet with eye protection (visor or goggles).

Whether you're a rider or a passenger, safety is paramount. For this reason, the Vintage Rides team would like to remind you of the equipment we strongly recommend you wear. Don't forget that the better equipped you are on your motorcycle, the better protected you'll be against the vagaries of the weather and any possible falls during the ride.

Approved full-face helmet or helmet with chin strap
Motorcycle boots with malleolus/ankle protection
Motorcycle jacket with back or airbag protection, elbow pads, shoulder pads
Pairs of reinforced motorcycle gloves
Pants with knee protectors
Rain suit
Dust-proof neckerchief / scarf
Sunglasses or mask

Our advice:
Check with your airline whether you can take your helmet and airbag vest in the cabin or in the hold.

Altitude travel: Beware, temperatures can vary considerably within the same day. Make sure you bring a warm lining, a second pair of gloves and a second pair of socks for cold weather and possible rain or snow.

Travel to destinations with temperatures above 25-30°C: ventilated summer jacket, summer gloves, light boots.
